The Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond is home to over 18,000 Confederate soldiers, two United States Presidents, the President of the Confederacy Jefferson Davis, and 25 Civil War generals. There are a number of local legends surrounding the cemetery. Some of these legends include that of the tomb marked W.W. Poole. The site seems similar to the other mausoleum style graves, but according to local tales, the Richmond Vampire resides inside the tomb. Those buried at the cemetery are said to roam the grounds at night in spirit.
