Visit Hunt Club for Family Fun on the Farm Right Here in Virginia Beach! A few miles beyond Virginia Beach’s resort area is another landscape the city is known for – farmland – and the family-owned and operated Hunt Club Farm is proud to be part of the area’s rich agricultural history.
Hunt Club Farm is a 28-acre family-owned and operated farm that raises chickens, goats and other livestock, provides educational field trips and features agricultural-based entertainment by way of its petting farm, pony rides, educational field trips and seasonal farm festivals, including an Easter Egg Hunt, Harvest Fair, and Halloween Festival.
Petting Farm:
Ride a pony, hold a chicken or feed a goat at Hunt Club’s petting farm in Virginia Beach – a favorite destination of locals and visitors alike. Home to dozens of friendly critters, this unique petting zoo offers families the chance to get up close and personal with its goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, guinea hens, geese, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, pigs and more. There is also a beautiful bird aviary filled with interesting fowl such as peacocks, crowned cranes, pheasants and doves.
Pony Rides:
Pony rides are a popular add-on activity for children guests at the petting zoo, and the kids love learning about Pearl, Bucket and all of the farm’s other equine beauties. Hunt Club Farm is home to 15 ponies, and they come in all sizes to accommodate tiny tots, pre-teens and every kid in between!
Hours of Operation: Petting Farm Hours: Daily: 9AM – 6PM
Admission Costs: Petting Farm and TreeWalk Adventure: $12 per person Children 2 and under: Free Pony Rides: $5 per ride Admission Available Online Only
