Jeters Chapel was erected in 1865, following the conclusion of the Civil War, on land donated by the Jeter family. It is located next to the Brethren Cemetery, and is rumored to be haunted. Some have reported seeing a man dressed in a white robe floating in the center of the cemetery.

Haunted but church goers don’t want you on the property

The church doesn’t like people checking out the cemetery or the building. I went to check out the church some of the church goers got very offended when discussing ghosts.

Hauntings debunked

This place is not haunted. The spooky lights supposedly seen have been debunked. They are caused by different light reflections off some of the tombstones. There are also small solar lights placed by families near some of the Graves.
