Jeters Chapel
Vinton, VA 24179
Jeters Chapel was erected in 1865, following the conclusion of the Civil War, on land donated by the Jeter family. It is located next to the Brethren Cemetery, and is rumored to be haunted. Some have reported seeing a man dressed in a white robe floating in the center of the cemetery.

The church doesn’t like people checking out the cemetery or the building. I went to check out the church some of the church goers got very offended when discussing ghosts.

Not haunted and tourists should find something else to do. This is a community cemetery, please respect our loved ones.

This place is not haunted. The spooky lights supposedly seen have been debunked. They are caused by different light reflections off some of the tombstones. There are also small solar lights placed by families near some of the Graves.
