Lyric Theatre
Blacksburg, VA 24060
The Lyric Theatre can trace its roots back to 1909, although it did not move into its current facility until 1930. Today the theater presents a variety of shows, including cinema, live theater, and music acts throughout the year. Visitors say that the building is haunted, reporting the sounds phantom footstep[s on the stairways, disembodied muttering, and cold spots. It is thought that the ghost responsible for these happenings may belong to a construction worker who lost his life while the theater was being built; however, there have also been reports of a female voice shrieking, sometimes crying “Let me out!” over and over.

Reviews
So I was at the lyrics theater for a show my sister was in. I live in Blacksburg and it was just bright to my attention that the lyric was haunted and the more I think about it the weirded this felt.
So it was the summer and was hot as hell outside. Everyone was bummed because the AC wasn't working during the show. So everyone is siting and watching in a pool of sweat and all of a sudden this freezing breeze goes through the last few rows where I was sitting. Everyone back there looked a bit confused as the doors were closed and there was no where the wind could have come from.
And I was probably just paranoid but I could have sworn I felt someone walk by.
