Orell House
Williamsburg, VA 23815
Little is known about the Orrell House’s early history as those records were destroyed during the Civil War, but it is known to have been the home of John Orrell from about 1800 to 1820. Today the historic building is used as a quaint inn in the heart of Williamsburg; it is also said to be haunted. The faucet in one of the bathrooms has reportedly turned itself on numerous times, and one guest reported having a glass mysteriously taken out of the medicine cabinet, removed from its plastic wrap, and thrown on the floor.
